Bible | We believe that the Bible, God’s directly-inspired written Word, is without error and is our only authority for faith and practice.  We believe God’s Word is preserved in the Hebrew Masoretic Text and in the Greek Textus Receptus.  We will use the King James Version while preaching and teaching in English.  We believe the method for Bible interpretation is to view the Bible through a literal, historical, dispensational, and contextual lens.

God | We believe in the Trinity, that God is three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  We believe that God created the world in six, literal, twenty-four-hour days.

Man | We believe that all men have sinned, cannot save themselves, and are in desperate need of a Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jesus | We believe that Jesus Christ is God and that He came to earth in the form of man to redeem humanity from sin.  We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and shed His blood in death for the sins of the whole world.  We believe that Jesus rose from the grave three days after His death.

Salvation | We believe that salvation is by the grace of God through the faith of man in Jesus’ finished work on the cross.  We believe that man cannot be saved by His own merit, but rather, only by exercising faith in Jesus.

Church | We believe that local churches are being built by Jesus Christ Himself and are the means by which God intends for the world to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are Baptist by conviction and believe in the local church with two ordinances, the Lord’s Supper and baptism, and two offices, the pastor and deacon.  We believe that believers will soon be raptured to meet the Lord in the air.

Holy Spirit | We believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells and eternally secures every believer and has bestowed on believers at least one spiritual gift at the moment of salvation.  We believe the Holy Spirit continually comforts and convicts the hearts of believers, while also drawing unbelievers to Jesus Christ.

Future Events | We believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church to meet Jesus in the air.  We believe that soon after the rapture, the seven-year tribulation will occur on earth, followed by Jesus returning to earth with His believers to set up His earthly, literal one-thousand-year Kingdom.  We believe that after the Millennial Kingdom, the heaven and earth will be destroyed, the new heaven and earth will be created, and we will forever dwell with our Lord.
